Anonymous asked: Over the past few months, I became good friends with this really chill Kiwi – we like the same music and share the same humour but recently I have noticed a few racial remarks from her about Indians and turbans. The other day she asked me if I was an extra on Bend It Like Beckham. I can’t tell whether it is ignorance or if she think it is funny. She is always sending me pics of people in turbans too. Should I be finding this stuff funny ?? Am I taking this a little too seriously??
